iPhone 7 will have two speakers?

Pictures of the upcoming iPhone 7 case are roaming around the web and it is very interesting. As we look to the photos, we can have clear view of an interesting part on Apple’s newest flagship phone. At the lower edge of the device, we see the presence of a second speaker.

We are almost 100% sure that the headphone jack will not be present in this phone but we are still thinking if what feature could replace the freed space. Before the pictures, we have been thinking on what kind of “out-of-the-box” thing could replace a traditional 3.5mm jack. However, this shows that they are actually planning to replace that space with another speaker. Smart or out of ideas?

The picture we've seen confirms the existence of a “no wire” concept and suggests that Apple is serious in creating a phone that doesn’t need a wire connected to it – not even one.

For its part, the second photo confirms what we already knew that the antenna band separation no longer pass through the back of the device and the wide cut hole to leave the field to the back camera sensor has near the top-left corner of the box and now forms a projection out of the metal.

Finally, keep in mind that the photo in question can potentially be a simple prototype, not a final version. Also, remember that a rumor announcing for some time that three versions were being prepared, do not discount the possibility that one of these versions (the iPhone 7 Premium or something like that) can rightly stand out with the presence of a second speaker. However, is a second speaker all what Apple needs to keep up with the competition? There might be more surprises later. All we have to do for now is to wait and see.
